Colombian Businessmen National Association, ANDI, will participate in Navalia 2022 and will bring a commercial delegation

Among the retinue travelling to Vigo stands out the visit of the great shipyards of the Andean country, Cotecmar and Astivik
Navalia’s Director, Javier Arnau, and the Executive Vice President from ANDI Fedemetal Chamber (National Association of Businessmen of Colombia), Paola Buendía, have signed an agreement in Bogotá to confirm their participation as exhibitors in the eighth edition of Navalia, to be held from May 24 to 26 at IFEVI (Vigo Exhibition Hall). In addition, Fedemetal ANDI Chamber will travel to Galicia with a delegation of Colombian companies, to highlight large shipyards of the Andean country, the Science and Technology Corporation for the Development of the Maritime and River Naval Industry (Cotecmar) and Astivik.
In addition to their participation as exhibitors, during the fair directors will offer a presentation, within the program of technical conferences, under the title “Colombia, a place of opportunities for the naval industry. Perspective of the country and the shipyard industry 2022”. The speakers will be Juan Manuel Lesmes Patiño, Executive Director of ANDI Fedemetal Chamber; Rear Admiral Luis Márquez, President of Cotectmar; and Engineer Jaime Sánchez.
From its side, and thanks to this agreement, Navalia will be present at the 3rd ANDI Fair, within the framework of Bogotá International Fair to be held from September 26 to 30, 2022.
Arnau participates this week in this trade mission to Colombia organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Pontevedra, Vigo and Vilagarcía de Arousa. The delegation, made up of fifty Galician companies and clusters with commercial interests in the country, participated yesterday in the Galicia-Colombia Business Meeting at the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce. The Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism of Colombia, María Ximena Lombana Villalba, participated in this Galicia-Colombia Business Meeting; the Ambassador of Spain in Colombia, Joaquín de Arístegui Laborde; and the Regional Minister of Economy and Second Vice President of Xunta de Galicia (Regional Government), Francisco Conde.
