The meeting held yesterday by the Executive Committee of Navalia, that this time counts on the presence of the Major of Vigo, bring also the occupation numbers that are around the 60% of the foreseen space

The Navalia’s Executive Committee, made up of almost every sectors related the naval industry in Galicia, held this morning a business lunch to inform about the news of the sixth edition, that will be held from the 24 to 26 May 2016. In the meeting participates the major of Vigo, Abel Caballero.
Regarding the consequence that Navalia has for Vigo, organizers aspire to exceed 10 million Euros reached in every past editions, aware of the importance of the business turism for the city. The organizers wants also to underline the contribution that the exhibition has have for a better knowledge of Vigo abroad, thanks to the promotion made in countries as South Africa, Latvia, Finland or Colombia.
Talking about occupation levels, and after summer, nowadays the foreseen space for the organizers is occupied at 60%. Last companies in join to the exhibitor list are leading in propulsion and steering systems; deck machinery; electrical generation and automation; and communications and bridge systems. Furthermore, and thanks to the international promotion of Navalia before the event, it would be possible to welcome ship owners from South Africa.
