Barreras closes five new contracts after the Pemex Lansing

Activity will return to Vigo's docks in February with th construction of a supplying vessel a tuna fishing boat and three tanker-vessel for Mexican ship-owners. The workload is valued in 300 millions. Contracts rain in Barrerars after Pemex arriving. The first meeting of the shipyard together with its new main shareholder has generated workload in Vigo's slips of 300 millions, according Carlos Roa, counsellor coordinator and number two in the board of directors of the Mexican oil company.

In total, Hijos de J. Barreras, will be in charge of the construction of a tuna fishing boat, a supplying vessel and three tanker-vessels. Works that will begin in February are ordered by Mexican ship-owners. Furthermore, in a second period, the contraction of other three vessels is foreseen, getting back workload to Vigo's docks at least for two years.

Pemex is also confident that the shipyard award one of the two floatels that the Mexican company will award by the end of this month.
