City naval industry sector acknowledges the Vigo´s port support to maritime industry

APV president, Corina Porro, has received a NAVALIA´s mention for her work leading this institution. The economy and industry Counsellor, Javier Guerra, will close at 18:30 the third edition of this international exhibition.

NAVALIA´S management team and Vigo shipbuilding business men’s wants show its grateful this morning to Vigo´s port for the “wholehearted support” with the naval industry presenting a metope to the president of the Port Authority, Corina Porro. NAVALIA´S president José Francisco González Viñas, emphasizes in his speech “the port cooperation in this exhibition” and the “unequivocal help” of the institution to this sector reminding that “Corina Porro is the port president who has bring most support to the naval industry , from repairmen, builders and auxiliary industry”. Mr. Viñas took the opportunity to thanks for the chance that this port institution has just opened in Brazil with the trade missions that the APV has developed during this year. We need to remind that is a country that can offer great opportunities for our companies, and that we have a recent example in the Vigo´s wind power building company Ganomagoga, present during the act, and of which NAVALIA´S president emphasizes its “industrial expansion in that zone and the wealth creation that it means to Galicia”. Mr. Viñas has affirmed that this kind of examples will open an “encouraging future for our industry”. Corina Porro thank for this distinction explaining that the businessmen support “is what the institutions must do: we should build the best panorama to support the companies to go ahead with their business so they can help with the wealth creation”. Ms. Porro reminded “the first time that these businessmen has come into my office to present me the project”, she pointed out that the naval shipbuilding “its part of our city origins, thanks to it we have become one of the best ports of the world, we need to go for it to make it more competitive”. In the other hand, the economy and industry Counsellor, Javier Guerra, will close at 18:30 the third edition of this international exhibition during an event that will take place in it regional ministry booth. NAVALIA´S president José Francisco González Viñas will inform about the exhibition provisional Visitors and business volume data.
