APV president, Corina Porro, has received a NAVALIA´s mention for her work leading this institution. The economy and industry Counsellor, Javier Guerra, will close at 18:30 the third edition of this international exhibition.
More than 4.000 visitor companies have been represented during the event looking for new commercial agreements. The exhibition president, José Francisco González Viñas, ensures that before the 1st of august of this year, the Ria´s Shipyards will have new orders.
New 600 millions orders give work to the factories to last themselves until 2012. During last quarter, the Galician private sector has incorporated 6 vessels to its order book which is valued in 1.500 millions.
A company from Vigo heads a pioneering initiative to reduce the sea pollution. The project will have a total cost of 4 millions Euros; the European Union will contribute 2.6 millions to finance it, 1 million of which will fully stay in Galicia, just as it was approved in the announcement of the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme.
